Systems Integrator
PowerON drives large-scale electrification projects by providing turnkey solutions encompassing all electrical infrastructure from the electricity grid connection to vehicle chargers, including:
- Infrastructure delivery and project management;
- Operations and maintenance;
- On-site generation, battery storage and back-up power; and,
- Smart charging and energy management.
Reporting to the Head of Project Development & Energy Markets, you will be part of a team developing energy solutions for large business and institutional customers including electric vehicle charging, battery storage, solar PV and power generation. Your work will help unlock the full potential of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, driving the transition to a clean energy economy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the effective integration and interoperability of electrification systems.
- Support development of end-to-end project requirements in support of systems integration.
- Perform technical review of project design, analysis, and reporting.
- Engage in software and hardware product development, designing and evaluating creative solutions to deliver fit-for-purpose systems in line with product vision and business needs.
- Work closely with software providers throughout the development, implementation, testing, and performance monitoring of software for electrification projects.
- Identify risks and suggest strategies to proactively overcome challenges.
- Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Self-initiated and intellectually curious, with a powerful interest in electrification and innovation.
- Experience with development and operation of one or more of the following: EV charging, behind-the- meter assets, distributed energy resources, or energy management systems.
- University Degree in Engineering or related field. A focus on Systems or Computer preferred.
- Experience with SCADA or PLC/RTU platforms an asset.

Project Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Project Development, the Project Coordinator will be part of a team developing energy solutions for large business and institutional customers including electric vehicle charging, battery storage, solar PV and power generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management activities from conception through to completion including front-end planning and project controls in accordance with Project Management governance
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Track and report on project performance, status, schedules, and budgets
- Support project conception and assist in investigation of growth opportunities that maximizes value for clients and support PowerON’s commercial objectives
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and communication with stakeholders
- Manage third-party contractors
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and suggest strategies to proactively overcome challenges
- Maintain close liaison with field construction forces and operations
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-initiated and intellectually curious, with a strong interest in electrification
- Enjoys interacting and collaborating with clients, vendors, and diverse teams
- Knowledge of new product management a plus
- Knowledge of EV charging, battery storage and other electrical equipment a plus
- 3+ years of experience or project management
- University Degree in related field.
- PMP is an asset

Sales Lead, Fleet Electrification
PowerON is enabling the transformation of vehicle fleets by providing end-to-end electrification solutions for businesses and transit operators of all sizes.

- Operations and maintenance

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Sales Lead will be a key team member leading the management of customer outreach, communications, contracting and relationships in the commercial fleet market.
This role has the responsibility to manage the full sales lifecycle of opportunities from initial contact to developing solutions, commercial structuring, contracting and execution.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key team member of a high-growth company focused on driving the transition to a clean energy economy. As our company and brand grows, this role has the potential to expand in scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new business opportunities and commercial structures with clients in the commercial fleet space looking to electrify
- Manage sales, and progress potential sales, including responding to request for proposals and development of unsolicited proposals and models.
- Generate marketing strategies to increase & promote sales.
- Make recommendations on growth opportunities for the business by conducting technical, financial and commercial analyses of potential opportunities.
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Identify and develop partnerships for the business and prepare business cases.
- Oversee the preparation of early contract documents such as Memorandums of Understanding, Letters of Intent, Term Sheets etc.
- Seek out and build new channel partnerships establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel
- Proactively lead channel partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and channels that will lead to increased sales
- Stay abreast of new technologies in the electrification space and provide external thought leadership by attending and participating in conferences and forums.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Finance or Marketing. MBA is an asset. 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales and marketing, business development, contracting
- Demonstrated experience in business development lead role implementing sales cycle involving multiple customers.
- Understanding of the utilities, fleet management and electrification industry is an asset
- Experience establishing and growing Manufacturing/OEM channel partnerships
- Experience using sales solution-based platforms and general software application
